Where Have You Been?

I've noticed that with a lot of new hobbies/activities that I pick up, I pick them up when they are past their popularity or peak. Take my new interest in biking for example. I just recently started road biking, and one of the most influential cyclists, Lance Armstrong, just retired. I doubt that the sport will be any less popular now that he's gone though.

I guess my point is better explained with Depeche Mode. They were my first an only favorite band. And it wasn't until 98' that it happened. Go figure.

Too Late

For a while now I've been thinking that I was born about 5 years too late. For instance the housing market. After being lucky enough to actually buy a place in the last couple of years, I realized I'd be in a much nicer place had I been born five years earlier. Not that I'm complaing, but it would have been nice. If I had the job I had now five years ago, I would have been sitting pretty with at least two properties under my belt. Maybe even more. I'm still more fortunate than most I suppose. For that I'm very gratefull.

I Want

Pygmy Marmoset monkeys. These things are "teh best." How awesome would it be to have one of these guys (or gals) as a pet?! If anyone knows how to get one of these, please let me know. How can you deny those little fingers?

Welcome to my blog. I doubt there will ever be much content here. I never really have much to say in person, so I doubt there will be much to read, although I would much rather write an email or IM someone than actually speak to them ;) Everyone has a blog, so that must mean I need one too.
